Acadia Hahlbrock is a native of Ypsilanti, MI.  She is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University holding accredited degrees in both Interior Design and Fine Art with minors in Graphic Design and Psychology.  Acadia gained experience in many facets of interior design through a series of internships and design positions spanning several years before establishing Surroundings Interior Design.  Through the years she has developed her own eclectic style, driven by the client's goals and intentions, and develops for each project a sophisticated and thoughtful design solution.

In addition to work on interior spaces, Acadia has extensive experience in event design and works as a professional artist utilizing the beauty of reclaimed materials.  In this way her passion, creativity, and attention to detail are combined.
